Description

NEW HEBRIDES 1924 5d on 2½d ultramarine with SURCHARGE INVERTED in block of four with sheet margin at left, mint with two stamps showing trace of hinge, the others never hinged. Some offsetting on reverse and the gum with light overall toning but fresh frontal appearance. A rare multiple of this eye-catching error. 1957 Royal certificate. SG 42a, cat £14,000+.
