Description
1860 Electric Telegraph, set of three, part to large part o.g. with the 4r right hand marginal showing part inscription, minor blemishes and odd tones on the reverse, still of very fine colour and appearance, an exceedingly rare set, with only FOUR unused examples of the 4r recorded with no example present in the Royal Philatelic Collection. The finest known set, (in superior condition to the “Koh-i-noor” set CRL 1986), a highly important showpiece for exhibition. SG T1-T3 cat £40,750 Ex.
