Small Dragon and Japanese Combination Cover to USA 1888.11.15
(November 15) Cover from Chinkiang to New York via Shanghai,
franked on reverse with Small Dragon 1ca and 5ca, covering the
domestic Customs Post ½ ounce rate, tied by Customs Chinkiang
despatch cds. Japan 5s Koban tied by Maru-Sa obliterator was added
by the Imperial Japanese Postal Agency in Shanghai (17 November) to
cover the overseas UPU rate to USA via Yokohama (23 November). New
York arrival on December 20. (Estimate 10.000 HK$)
