TERMS OF SALE
BY MAKING A PURCHASE FROM CHRISTOPHER GREEN LTD, YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS OF SALE:
Our Guarantee to You
We are proud to offer collectors an attractive selection of fine and rare stamps, postal history, and ephemera. We seek out quality material for our clients, and invest the time and resources to carefully research and describe our material. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please contact us. Items can be returned within 30 days of receipt, provided they are returned in the same condition as when they were sold.
We guarantee all of our inventory to be genuine as described. Should you wish to obtain a third-party expert opinion on any item, please advise us at the time of purchase. In such cases, we will accept returns of any items receiving a conflicting opinion from a mutually acceptable expert body within 120 days or purchase. We will refund expertization fees up to a maximum of $50 should the item be deemed other than as described. In no cases will be we accept any returns of items which have been marked or encased in any way by the expert or expert committee.
Taxes & Customs Fees
Any shipments made within Canada are subject to applicable GST or HST. Any such taxes will be added to your invoice. We do not collect sales taxes on shipments to outside of Canada.
Any customs fees and import duties, or sales taxes due on import are the sole responsibility of the buyer. We comply with all applicable laws requiring disclosure on packaging for customs purposes. As import duties can vary by jurisdiction, please contact your appropriate government agency for further information.
Payment Options
We welcome payment online via Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. Payment via PayPal or wire transfers are also accepted. Canadian buyers may also chose to pay via e-Transfer. As our prices are in Canadian dollars, your credit card company will adjust to your local currency at their conversion rate. Your card will be charged in Canadian dollars – we have no control over the conversion amount.
Shipping
Unless otherwise noted in the item description, orders are shipped free of charge via Canada Post letter mail. Customers may choose tracked shipping options, for an additional fee. In some circumstances, we may choose to ship via FedEx or other courier. Should you require special delivery arrangements, please contact us for a shipping quote. Please note that we reserve the right to charge additional shipping costs for tracked delivery on orders to countries which we deem to be high-risk, or to refuse to ship to any such destination, at our sole and absolute discretion.

We are committed to the security of all personal information you provide to us. To prevent access or unauthorized disclosure, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic and administrative measures to protect and secure the information we collect online. We make every reasonable effort to prevent the loss, misuse and alteration of personal information in our possession. No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, however, and we do not guarantee absolute security. Customers placing an order with us do so at their own risk, and we accept no liability.

All items offered for sale on this website are presented subject to prior sale. We reserve the right to refuse any order, for any reason, at our sole discretion, in which case any payment made will be refunded. Notwithstanding any automated e-mails you may receive, no order is to be considered accepted until a personal e-mail confirming shipment has been sent by us. By making a purchase from us, you agree that any disputes pertaining to your purchase shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and that any dispute shall be under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
