France. 1931-32 Registered covers to Australia, the 1931 (May 15) cover from Aubervilliers to Victoria franked 4f.80, carried by Air Orient to Baghdad then transferred to KLM and flown to Bangkok; the 1932 (May 25) cover from Le Bourget Airport to New South Wales franked 11f (1930 1f.50 lake air block of four + 1931 5f) carried on the first weekly Air Orient flight to Karachi. Two unusual covers, received within two days of each other. (2).
