transit and arrival cancels. It is remarkable that a card just
addressed to China found its' way to the recipient in a short space
of time!!

Queensland 1d tied by a straight line LOOSE SHIP LETTER handstamp.
A LARGS BAY, S.A. NO 25 07 datestamp is on the card. The sender
left Freemantle on November 21 and the card was written and posted
on board the ship on November 23. It entered the Australian postal
service when it was taken off at Largs Bay on November 25.
Obviously Queensland stamps were being sold on the ship!
