Huge balanced margins, used with 1855, 1p Dull Red, Eighth Printing, Campbell & Fergusson (SG 27), Position 23, huge margins to clear at top left, and 1855, 3p Blue, Ninth Printing, Campbell & Fergusson (SG 31b), Position 20, large balanced margins, tied by three well-struck "1V" barred oval cancels, "Melbourne Victoria OC 12 1855" oval datestamp on back of blue folded letter to Belfast, Port Fairy, "Belfast Victoria 14 OC 1855" crown-oval arrival backstamp EXTREMELY FINE. AN IMMACULATE THREE-COLOR FRANKING WITH THE 1855 6-PENCE TOO LATE STAMP OF VICTORIA. ONLY 35 COVERS ARE RECORDED USING THIS LATE FEE STAMP. A SPECTACULAR EXHIBIT-QUALITY POSTAL HISTORY ARTIFACT. According to the Geitenbeek census, just 35 covers are recorded using this Victoria 6p "Too Late" stamp. This is the world's first postage stamp issued for the payment of the late fee.
