Information for online dispute resolution: The European Commission presents an Internet platform for online dispute settlement (so-called "ODR platform") as a focal point for the extrajudicial settlement of disputes concerning contractual obligations arising from online contracts on goods or services used.

Auction Conditions:

The auction start price is 10% below the estimate. The hammer price is the basis for the calculation of the buyer‘s surcharge. The auction start price is 10% below the estimate. The hammer price is the basis for the calculation of the buyer‘s surcharge. The buy price is hammer price plus 22% surcharge (relevant VAT included in the premium). All buyers from countries outside the EC pay a fixed buyers fee of 19%. In case buyers from abroad (no EC country) export the goods by themselves or third parties, the relevant VAT will be charged but refunded by presentation of the legally export certificate. In case we export these goods the relevant VAT will not be charged. For gold coins which are free of VAT, we charge a buyer‘s fee of 17%. All other auction lots are acharged with differential taxation.

Foreign taxes and custom duties shall be carried by buyer as well as shipping expenses charged according to effort. The hammer shall fall after the highest bid has been called out three times. The knockdown shall oblige to take immediately delivery of the goods.

Lot 14 Islamic Coins - Fatimid

Al Mustansir Billah, 1036-1094 (AH 427-487)

Dinar AH 455 = 1063, Münzstätte Madinat-Rasul-Allah ("Die Stadt des Propheten Allahs" = Medina, Saudi-Arabien). 3,60 g. vorzüglich, von größter Seltenheit und numismat. Bedeutung, vermutlich Unikum Von dieser Münzstätte sind bislang nur 2 Exemplare des Jahres AH 450 (Morton & Eden Auktion 92, 2018, Nr. 97, Zuschlag 118000 brit. Pfund und CNG Islamic Auction 7, 2024, Nr. 178, Zuschlag 42500 US $), sowie ein Exemplar des Jahres AH 453 im British Museum bekannt geworden, von unserem Jahrgang AH 455 noch keines. Al Mustansir Billah (= "der Gott um Beistand anfleht") hieß mit bürgerlichem Namen Abu Tamim Maad. Geboren 1029 in Kairo, bestieg er bereits 1036 als 7-jähriger den Thron, faktische Herrscher waren jedoch die Wesire. Al-Mustansir sollte sich stattdessen vergnügen, um sich nicht in den Regierungsalltag einzumischen. Als während eines Vergnügungsausflugs im Sommer 1062 vor seinen Augen ein betrunkener türkischer Gardist einen Sudanesen angriff und darauf von dessen Kameraden getötet wurde, eskalierte die Situation zu einem Bürgerkrieg. Medina und Mekka wurden ab 1062 zwar namentlich von Al Mustansir, jedoch de facto von dem jemenitischen König Ali bin Muhammad bin Ali al-Sulayhi regiert, ab 1066 dann von seiner Tochter Arwa al-Sulayhi, der ersten weiblichen Regentin in der muslimischen Welt überhaupt.
