Description

1856, 6 kr, scarlet, type III b, imperf, out of scale mint and fresh original gum with the usual craquelees showing only tiny light traces of hinge reminders, the worldwide first newspaper stamp, origin from the block which was sold by the Austrian Postal Archive to Siegmund Friedl who cut all the stamps to shape, in the margin at lower left outside the stamp image is a minor exceedingly small thin which is not recorded in the certificates, listed here for full accuracy, very fresh state of preservation in every possible aspect for this very fragile item, this key value is missing in nearly every worldwide collection, cert Alberto Diena, Baottacchi and Behr, XF!
