1856, 4 c., black on blue glazed surface-coloured, initials of postal clerk Wight EDW, cut octagonally, with good even margins, showing a neat strike of A 8 C/Arabian Coast/January 1857 ds, with the minor surface blemishes mentioned for full accuracy, are characteristic for this issue and of no relevance, there are only six recorded used cut octagonally examples known, this is the finest copy, four other having faults or being repaired, SG £150,000 +, this stamp sold 2014 at David Feldman for a price of 183.000 Euro incl. the commission, ex John E. du Pont, cert BPA, XF! Estimate 180.000€.
