1843, 90 reis, grey black, intermediate impression, a used horizontal pair from the second composite plate, state B, with huge margins all round with horizontal frame line sheet marginal at base, cancelled by two large part strikes of CIDADE / DE / NICTHEROY handstamp in black, small closed tear at top right outside of the design, a former restaurated corner is clipped, an extremely attractive and scarce pair, cert.
