1859, (1/2d), orange, with black Perkins Bacon CANCELLED bared oval obliterator, presented by the printers to Ormond Hill, the nephew of Sir Rowland Hill, fine to very good margins, still with original gum, very fine and fresh, from pos 6 out of the block of six cancelled as such, although only two are recorded by Jaffe (this example being unrecorded) and with one example in the Royal collection; cert. BPA, XF-SUP! Estimate 15.000€.
