On the address side written "posted at Monrovia first stop June 15/05, lovely voyage have grown very much stouter very little sickness. 60 Gents 2 Ladies on board". Was given at stop at Monrovia(Liberia) to post and sent to England, the two halfpenny stamps KEVII have been cancelled by datestamp PAQUEBOT LIVERPOOL JY/6 05. The very rare card shows a scene where cricket players are playing on board of that ship (the sender has been marked on the picture by arrow), the scene is described with pencil in lower part of the picture
