1927, red-band cover from Ulan Bator to Manchuria on the northern route via Kichta (Mongolian-Russian border), franked on back by 1926 5m., 20m. and 50m. all tied by "ULANBATOR MONGOLIA/22 I 27" double-ring datestamp, and on front with two Chinese 1926 'Junk' 4c. olive tied by bilingual Manchuria cds. The 20m. stamp with a corner defect at lower left otherwise fine.
