1917 4d registered envelope (size G) to Cape Town, endorsed ‘On
Active Service’ cancelled by the mutilated “NENO” postmark that was
changed to F.P.O. / 10 / B.C.A. which was used at New Langenburg.
The envelope has been signed at the lower left by “J Brown, Lt,
Kyimbela.” Of significance is the small captured German
‘Neulangenburg’ handstamp. Pennycuick records only four examples
used on registered mail. A very fine and rare registered cover
