1927: Registered cover from the Turkish Legation in Kabul to Constantinopel via the northern Landikhana-Peshawar route through British India, franked on reverse with pair 1924 10p. rose (right hand stamp with an unprinted corner at top right!), cancelled with native Kabul h/s and Turkish arrival cds's, and on front with Indian KGV. 3a. tied with Landikhana '17 Sep 27' double-ring d/s, Landikhana reg. label and "LANDIKHANA/DUE/(6) As" half-circle tax h/s plus "6" in m/s alongside. Cover opened three sides and bears some stains, but a very interesting and uncommon cover with a good variety on one of the Afghan adhesives, a good destination, and a scarce Postage Due h/s.
