Germany's oldest auction house celebrates it's 90th year in business. In April 1913 Heinrich Koehler hold the first stamp auction on German ground in Berlin.
German Empire is represented by various special offers: German Reich Shield issues; a special collection: "The golden years of the Goldmark" displaying unmounted mint rarities. German Colonies and Occupation issues in World War II, in particular Lithuania and Estonia. The outstanding representative of modern issues is the GDR special collection "Kreuzhain".
There are also exclusive offers from Europe and overseas split into single lots. Outstanding is the Drs. Avo Kaplanian collection "Palestine Mandate mails" and what is likely the most significant special collection of the EUROPA CEPT and collatorals.
