Addressed to PESHAWAR, INDIA with added Indian 1926 1a chocolate (SG 203) tied by fine LANDIKHANA cds to pay onward postage within India with PESHAWAR arrival cds on reverse. Afghanistan did not join the UPU until 1st April 1928 hence the stamps of the country were only valid for internal mail. [US2] (Reserve = £25.60)
