Terms and Conditions of Trade

1. The auction house veikkos.com - owner: Veikko Jungbluth, Stubenrauchstr. 22 in 15732 Eichwalde - conducts auctions of old advertisements , poster stamps, letter seals, and German Democratic Republic-advertising. Auctions only take place online via internet at: http://www.veikkos.com. After successful registration bids can only be placed online by means of our own software. By getting registere you agree to be bound to our terms and conditions of trade. Bids in written form must be received by us at least 3 days before the auction is started. Bidders who have submitted their bids in written form are denoted with the pseudonym zulu.

2. The description of used items is made to the best of our knowledge. But they are no assured features in accordance with §434 BGB.

3. The highest bid is accepted and indentures the bidder to take the item. The auction house veikkos.comcan refuse acceptenca or accept with reservations it there is any doubt about the acceptance of the bid.

4. The auction house veikkos.com charges a buyer's premium (19 % of the winning bid) which is added to the final bid. The customer gets an invoice which has to be settled within a fortnight. Customers will have to pay referral fees. Shipment fees are charged separately. The auction house veikkos.com is entitled to annul the contract without further fixing of a time limit if payment has not been made within a fortnight after the auction, to charge a penal interest in an amount of normal banking practice and to claim for damages.

5. The auction house veikkos.com rserves the right for itself to put items together, separate them, change their order, or withdraw them from autions.

6. The end of an auction is to be understood as an approximate time. The auction house veikkos.com is unable to guarantee the availability of the homepage and that auctions will be uninterruped or error free.

7. Customer data are used for contact purposes and accounting. Neither they are sold nor let to a third party. After registration the customers can view, alter or retract their pesonal data.

8. The winning bidder has the right to cancel the contract within a month after the items have been delivered. To comply with the time limit it is sufficient to dispatch the cancellation in good time. After returning the item the auction house refunds you the money paid.

9. Should one of the clauses of these trading coditions become ineffective, the effectiveness of the remaining clauses in not affected. Any legal case arising from this contract shall be heared at Eichwalde. The law to be applied is the one of the Federal Republic of Germany.
